Cheers! I just got lucky that the photographer caught it. He was telling me about an R6 he'd got but it turned out to be me! I had to buy the CD as he got the full crash sequence. I'll post more up when I get a chance. It actually wasn't as bad as it looks but that's the best hero shot lol. I'm ok, managed to bend a few bits back and ride the afternoon session. The crash protection did its job!

You get more room on a track when your bike and leathers are covered in scuffs and scratches.

Haha. There weren't many road bikes there so I already had a big fat target on me lol.

Wow Andy, that is an awesome picture mate.

Pleased to hear you're largely unhurt. I see you now have a brake lever with the same sort of "increased ground clearance" as I have,

Your frame sliders look to have survived better than my old Puigs did. I had to fit some new (GB ones) as the Puigs had virtually ground away by the end of last year. What make are yours please, I don't recognise them.?

Also, do you have an interesting pic' from the crash sequence that includes a recognisable of your bike.? As I think it would make a great "caption competition" thread for our hapless 675.cc bunch over there (if that's ok with you, obviously)

Cheers good spot on the brake pedal! I didn't notice it till after I'd persuaded the marshall to let me ride it back to the pits and I went to stop!
Thebframe sliders are GB racing bullet sliders. Think they're the shorter track rather than the longer road version to prevent them digging in and flipping the bike. They worked!
I'll upload the sequence later and you can take your pick. I have 'what happens next' and 'impending doom' lol.

Awesome Shot mate 8)

Main thing is you are okay and secondly the bike is not badly damaged.

What group were you in Andy ? just you mention not many road bikes and being a target.

Glad you're ok Andy, I'd say you've gotten away with a surprisingly small amount of damage. Most of what looks like damage will probably wash off. How are you feeling today though?

Good pic, even if it was an expensive way to get it. ;)
