Bikeshed.cc

Post by duke63 »

Not quite sure how to take this boom is custom bikes and also how great many of them are to ride but i guess anything that shows bikes in a more positive light in the media has to be good.

They apparently had a big show in London last weekend.

These are some of my faves on their website.

That's the one I like the least.

I don't mind custom bikes. People have always done their own thing with them.

As Perkles said the other day, the problem is the culture growing around them. It used to be your typical greasy biker with an old denim vest, now it's blokes with too much cash, groomed beards, designer socks and tailored plus fours.

Some look like you would love a ride on them...others you wouldn't want to be seen dead on.

I guess this was all started by the Beckham/Pitt crowd posing round LA.

I would say looking at that engine it's a Guzzi, possibly a griso (spelling may be incorrect)

Love the first one! I'm not really a fan of changing bikes all that much but that really is special :-)
