It means 15 minute sessions instead of 20. It's the only weekend date I could find for Donny

Tell her you're going with Perkles and Kwacky, who will spend the day arguing over the last jaffa cake.

You and me had a really good day there all those years ago.

Saturday 16th August - Donny Track day

Never done Donny and really fancy it - kinda agree with Godzilla about the 15 min sessions but Donny doesn't come up often on a Saturday in the height of summer so I'm up for this!!

EDIT- just seen it's 98db. I will need to wait for my 1st Trackday to book as I haven't got a clue what the Zx10 noise tests at.

That was a very good day. I learned a lot from that copper instructing too ( and sadly no longer with us) not the least that i am very slow and he was fecking quick, even riding with one hand off the bars.

Will never forget being told that Craner Curves has no corners. :D

His advice to me - stop slowing down for corners (tmi)

He was very good. After a couple of laps I was hoisting the wheel out of corners. He told me off for not concentrating.

ive done a 4 group day at donington (with focused) and its just not worth the money. you get 5 mins less each session but no extra sessions per day, and (i video'd) because of them letting x amount of people out on track at intervals within the group youre in, i only got 11mins on track per session.

I might be up for this. Gonna book a track day for me and my mate Ade (part of his stag celebrations) and was looking at Donington in August, just checking the dates with him now.

How does it work with 4 groups, 2 notice, 1 inters, 1 fast? Dunno whether to go for inters or novice, haven't done a track day since 2009.

Novice, slow inters, fast inters, fast.

That's how the 4 groups tend to run.

I've not booked.

Looking on the site it's dropped down to 3 groups.
