We've not been for a while and I miss the place.

I fancy going at a time other than in Sept so the weekend after the TT ends is the proposal.

Any interest?

I will make a decision nearer the time.

I see to think that is about £20 more than the last time I went.

I'm very pleased to say I won't be thinking of you while you're there.. it would be very concerning if I did because I'll be on my honeymoon!

I was going to make a comment about riding some fine curves but I'm not that crass.

Or throwing the leg over for a good thrash, we are far too mature for that (angel)

I agree Kiwi, but it's hard as the immature side of me was going to say "tightening up the clearance on the big end and treating the old girl to some fresh lube before a good hammering" but I stopped myself as that would be the mature thing to do :?

As you two are well aware, all day at work all I hear are words such as: flange, shaft, lube, grinding, bore, cavity, orifice, seep, bonding [hear bondage].....

"I need to lube my shaft before press fitting it deep in the bore and torquing the flange to prevent seepage from the exiting the crack".

Needless to say that this is off. Hopefully we'll get over there soon.

I wonder if the Steam Packet will survive without the racing?

Of course they will survive. No impact at all as the government are propping up buisness and the economy and paying employees wages.

There will be no businesses loose out or jobs be lost it's all under control. Theres a whole thread about it somewhere (facepalm)

There is another thread about it, but some people refuse to believe they need to isolate, so it's spreading to other threads.

Lucky for some. I would struggle to be more isolated if I tried ;)

Who are these people riding motorbikes and running around :?

I'm sure all those people who move to the IOM to save tax will be happy to bail out the Steam Packet if it goes bust. :?

Otherwise they might find they re marooned there unless they are olympic swimmers as i think Flybe were one of the main users of the airport.
