Cheers Jon. I think we were struggling to find a hotel or place to stay with enough rooms in Welshpool. Duke mentioned Llandrindod

Not sure how many rooms you need or how many peeps but this might be of help. Central and on the a483 so good roads.

I'm going to have to back out, some stuff has come up which means I don't have that weekend free and I can't get out of it, I will keep trying but it's not looking good.

I'm going to do some searching for places today. If you in can you add your name to the list so I know how many rooms I'm looking for.

Humm, I've just realised a potential issue. I'm starting a new contract week Monday, and the going away for a long weekend which means a 4 day week. This is the weekend after which may need another 4 day week, for which I may not be popular..

Guess it depends on who else is coming. I could always ride up Saturday morning and have it as a one night stop over ????

Sorry to be an arse at the last minute, there's never a dull moment when you contract.

Do you still want to do the Saturday night? I'm happy to leave early Saturday morning and meet at crossgates or welshpool, should be able to get there before 11.

I can then head back later on the Sunday, probably by 6.

If, and it's a big if... The contract is OK and there is secure parking for the bike, I may be able to ride from London on Friday.

Cool, I'll find somewhere to stay.

I was thinking of heading back at about 5 or 6 on Sunday. Should be home before dark then, just.

With the impending house move and peoples changes in availability I'm going to have to knock this one on the head. I can't justify being away for a weekend if we've just moved.

Sorry folks, I thought I would have been in my new house at the start of the summer, not the end of it.
