Darley Moor Track Day - Friday 21st April

Post by Monty »

Anyone fancy this? It's not the most inspiring track, but a lot more fun than than the aerial photos would suggest and local to a lot of us.

The video is far more enticing than the aerial shot !!

I won't be participating but I may come along to watch - dependent on what I end up doing for my gf's birthday on the 20th

I'm waiting for the £10 Pom deals when we eventually do a trade deal. My mates out there at the moment trying to get Ozzy Citizenship, think he's spent about £11k so far!

It's doubtful.

I've got a credit note from No Limits which I need to use by the end of April, so I'll probably do a road only track day at Donny

LOL Do the hills have eyes?

Joking aside I recon you are going to see a lot of immigration from the UK in the coming years. Especially Doctors and NHS staff.

I have done trackdays when the bike was covered in frost and we've waited for the track to thaw, I've done them in so much rain they've closed the track, however I've not done one in the snow. (allhail)

Whilst I could say something critical about the rider missing apexes, I'm not going to - on account of the sheer craziness of that clip, and btw, I really hope the frostbite heals up quickly.....

That's the Peaks for you, the road the track is on was closed for a week in March 2013. The ploughs couldn't keep up with the drifting so they just stopped running.
