How to Post an Event or Rideout

Want to post up an event or rideout? It's actually easier than you think.
We now have two ways of posting events, one off events happening soon or planned events or trips happening at a known date.
If you are out for a blast or fancy oganising a ride-out at the weekend simply use the New Topic button at the top of the forum. Don't forget to put the date in the title though so people don't turn up on the wrong weekend.
If your planning a bigger event or trip then use the instructions below to get the details added to the site calendar.

- Click the Calendar icon from the main toolbar at the top.
- Scroll through the calendar until you can see the date the event is to take place.
- Click on the star icon in the header of the day the event starts.
- Fill out the form details, making sure you set the event type and leave the "Who can see this event" as public.
- Give as much detail as you can in the form as this will be the basis of the post that everyone will see.
- When your happy click Submit.
- A new entry will be added into the calendar that will be visible on the homepage the week the event takes place.
- A thread will also be started in the events section to allow people to comment on the event in the usual way.
