Insurance and breakdown cover is sorted.

Remind me about my v5, didn't realise I had to take that.

I've got a waterproof Overboard bum bag, that'll have my key documents in it.

Starting to get stuff together now.

EHIC card, driving licence, V5, Insurance docs, breakdown cover, medical insurance. Been told i need a fluor vest in case of breakdown.

I will bring my satnav and probably get a decent map.

I'm wearing my leathers and taking waterproofs.

Just taking the topbox and a tankbag.

Bike is going in for a service tomorrow so will be without it for probably a week.

Do you want to borrow a Kriega tailbag, Kwacky? I have a 20litre and a 30 litre version, whichever you prefer.

Thanks Duke. I've got a US10 and an R35 backpack. I'm sure I've got a magnetic tankbag kicking around as well. I'll take a look at the weekend.

If you guys want to wash anything while your at ours (depends on the weather i guess) you would be welcome if it cuts down some of your luggage.

Do I need a GB sticker on my bike? Can't seem to find out if I do. If I do I've no idea where it can go.

Technically yes, but i don't suppose it would be too much of a problem. They do sell small ones for motorbike plates on eBay.

Just had an email to say that my ferry out is delayed and I won't be arriving until 15.45

Those bloody Frenchies and their strikes.

Duke, I've asked the ferry company if there are any bike spaces available for me on your sailing. Just in case they've had someone cancel.

We can do bugger all about it. Just turn up and hope it works out OK. I notice some sailings for tomorrow have been cancelled altogether.

Fuel strikes, port strikes, air strikes...at least France should be quiet. :D

Brittany have got back to me - still no room at the inn for a motorbike so it looks like we're sailing on different ships.

On the plus side we get time to enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
