Frankie's Mystery Tour Sunday 10th August

Post by Kwacky »

Meeting up at Stow on the Wold at 10.00 with a view to get away at 10.30.

http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurant ... gland.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ... gland.html Lucy's Tea Room is the spiritual home of Tankslap. We can meet there.

Frankie has kindly offered to take us on a mystery ride out around that region. I've no idea which way we're heading.

The ride out will be weather dependent.

(f1) we had a damp start today but was well worth it.

Looking at the forecast I thought people would cancel today's gig but as people had taken time off work I felt I needed to go and so glad I did it was a mega day.

I would wait till the night before these weather forecast guys and gals no sh1t till about 10 mins before it actually happens, there always changing their minds

Tell me about it!!! guttted, had a cracking route set up... on well there is always another weekend.

Even if it was going to be sunshine and showers I would have done it, Well the bike and me got soaked this morning, so that it now, no more being precious about getting dirty lol... did not last long. Oh wait I live in the UK what was I thinking lol.
But tomorrow is going to be pretty poor, considering the localised floods from the down pours today, I dont think the roads will be much fun.

As you say, always another weekend. No point going out and getting soaked for the sake of it..
