Post by rocket »

My first trackday in a long time around 4-5 years looking forward to it and nervous at the same time it was posted up on the rsv site and there was a 10% discount. Im riding down on the Monday and staying over in the Premier Inn at east midlands ( :D

Me and Perkles did our first track day for a few years last week. You soon get into it.

I'm going way around then otherwise I would have joined you.

Damn it.. Now I've got the all clear for track days I'm struggling to decide which to do..

Do I go for the rsvr.net discount, meeting a new face, and a day listening to v-twins hammering round donny, or do I go the week before and meet up with Kwacky and Perky.

(gah) why is life never simple ;)

one reason i chose to do the rsv one was i thought there may be less idiots on track as im guessing quite a few will be road bikes , If i had the money / time i would do BOTH (devil)

Lol I booked the 22 first and you came up with a weak excuse that you were on holiday

i would have no problem doing a track day with Kwacky or perky i just would not park my bike next to kwacky when he's checking his tire pressure

My bike didn't have another bike to rest against. It would do if you parked close enough in the paddock.

Right. Decided I'm going to book this.

Got clearance from Mrs Nutz to travel up the night before and crash in a hotel.

sweet ill check about the room tonight the fun adjuster was a bit on edge over the last few days about a meeting at work so asking any questions regarding bikes would mean i would be surfing the forum from a hospital bed.

I appreciate the offer mate, but I think I'll get my own room. I usually end up going to bed early, plus the mental image of Kwacky with a role of gaffa tape has permanently scarred me.. I think it was hearing leigh's screams the first year we went to the IoM that did it..
