Question - I take it you will both be using their bikes?

You use their bikes but if you acheive the desired level and they think your bike is safe and not too loud they will let you use your own at the end of the day

That is a good question Rob!
Also how do we pay? Not saying your not a trustworthy person but I get worried about the payment side of things. Is this a easy way of being able to book over the phone with the company...
Maybe if there is a reference number we can state while ring the company that would then take us to your group booking etc? Sorry if this sounds horrible but it's a lot of cash lol

How about proposing we each pay them £180 each by way of deposit and we pay the extra £20 on the day if we don't get enough numbers for the group discount?

I really want to do this, but I can't do it too late in the year, I'm due to fly to Qatar on August 25th.

If we could bring it earlier in the year, say July/August, then count me in.

IF it's later in the year then I stand a chance of blagging this.

EDIT: Mind you, I've just seen the MAXXIS logo at the bottom of their website.. :?

Hmm, maybe I should've given a slightly earlier date. If I went the day before I'm supposed to fly I think the missus would flay my man parts.

I could probably make the 10 August one though.

Only just seen this thread, but the one we did was at the top gear test track place, south of Guildford, it was great fun, start on quads, then onto fazers, and then if they feel you are good enough you can do it on your own bike.

Great fun and very addictive for ever more, ha ha (devil)

A lot of money for what you get to be honest, I can only speak for this one, but not a day for poor or cold weather, and not ideal for people who wish to watch.

Air field, can be cold and blowy, no real place to sit, no food or lunch, basic tea and coffee on offer, and a few biscuits.
As I say a lot of wedge for that. Saying all that it was still a lot of fun, and doing with like minded people makes it fun and also competitive to say the least, even if people hide it.....ha ha ha
