Bike insurance renewal

Post by duke63 »

Renewal quote with Bikesure was £259 so haven’t shopped around. It’s less than last year by £40.

Just auto renewed mine for £106, wasn't really much point in getting a quote. I suspect Bennetts have been looking at my MOTs

Despite going from 3 down to 2 bikes and gaining another years NCB, my renewal is only down by £80.

Isn't Bemoto supposed to be competitive too?

Bikesure are the cheapest so far at just over £400

Bemoto are the most expensive. They've got a weird set up where you have to declare the same mileage for both bikes. So they've got me done 7,000 miles a year on the MV and they've got the MV as the main bike.

I've called Cornhill back. They struggled to get a lower price than the initial renewal. We had a long chat and with some tweaks it drops to a few pennies below Bikesure and that's why legal cover and business use.

So I think I'll stick with them.

Called them back to agree another year with Cornhill. The insurer has just changed their premiums so my quote has gone down by just under £30.

Insurance paid for another year.
