I had a very good look around a 1299 PG and was shocked how tiny it was ,they are drool worthy for sure very special bikes
I have a customer that buys a special edition Ducati every time they come out ,he rides one of them to work on a friday when the weathers nice
There are so many bikes I would own but not enough money, space or time

I would love to be a Designer for Ducati, although my knowledge certainly isn't biased that way.

I love the tech on it but its far from the best looking special Ducati have produced.

The wings ruin the look.

I appreciate the look of the wings as I'm a sucker for function over form.

They're completely unnecessary on the road where most owners will occasionally use it though

I didn't know there was two. I was thinking of the one that came out around 2014 and weighed 155kg dry.

There was an 1199 version (2014)
Image.

and a 1299 version (2017). I think the 1299 is the more desirable (carbon wheels and special Akra system) but the 1199 is prettier.

I prefer the 1299 but suspect the original 1199 version may prove the better investment long term.

The beer is tempting and I do love Porsche but the Italian exotica and sexy ladies would probably swing it for me (lol)

The 1199 is absolutely beautiful but I never liked the exhaust on the 1299... function over form didn't cut the mustard on that for me.

According to 44T the superleggera was also the easiest to ride (1199).

It's beautiful but super-sizing the wings hasn't done it any favours. I like the older one with the Marlboro-looking paint job better.
