Fitted Some Titanium

Need to change some corroded fasteners so did them with titanium components.

Please with the results as looks a lot better.

Oh Gilles axle nut. Very nice, but a bit expensive, I thought I had lost all sanity when ,mine arrived lol.

Expensive but trick as fook and therefore worth it IMO. Easy to spend more on a night out so why not is the way I looked at it.

I looked at changing mine as well as the spacer plate and I was going to nip down to ProBolt .... got a link to the Gilles stuff (inlove)

I'm sure you knew this already, Blade, but make sure that titanium bolts are well covered copper grease or similar.

Ti can apparently bond to other metals.

I didn't know that Duke and as there brake disc mounting bolts I put some low strength loctite on them. Perhaps I need to remove and copper slip asap. Cheers for advice.

Bolts removed. Thread lock wired brushed off and refitted with copper slip.
