I imagine putting mass on the wheel would not be ideal from a handling point of view imo. Using the accepted rule of thumb of 1kg saved on the unsprung mass has the equalivent effect on the handling as saving 6kg from the sprung mass, then adding 10kg to each wheel for drive would be like adding 120kg to the sprung mass and far from ideal.

Wife was told today that the new Fiat 500 will be available as all electric only.
So if she wanted to replace with a petrol then they will be a limited.
