HJC are noisy because they're the lightest without spending ££££

I'm tempted by a Nolan next. My first helmet when I was 16 was a Nolan N25 and loved it.

Very space age for the 80s

Quite tempted by this and it's only 150 quid at Sportsbikeshop.

Not normally a colour I would go for, but it does match the bike

Went for this instead, not too bad for 170 quid.

Nolan are well priced. I checked last night and I've had 3 in the last 7 years. That's pretty impressive IMO for a helmet that does at least 10,000 miles a year.

Personally had issues with the visor which is annoying due to poor design. However the latest visor I recieved does had a new designed locking mechanism which should protect it

Personally find my HJC RPHA 11 comfy, I'm not bothered about noise, it's a lid that fits well, comfy, goes out for decent blats around Wales, I always wear ear plugs and looks good.

Would I buy another one

No. The visors were enough to put me off. I'll go for something else that fits me next time.

Just got a RPHA 90, which will be my 2nd HJC. Had 2 Sharks as well, and found this latest purchase to be quietest and comfiest.

Only had it a few weeks but initial impression of quality is really good.
