Just found this posting on the ST RS owners FB page:

Hi All - went for a blast to Wales yesterday and called in at Caffeine and Machine on the way home , after we left I pulled over in a Farm entrance to adjust my Ear Piece , a Bentley pulled onto the verge 50 yards in front of me and a Chap got out ( slacks , open shirt and braces ) he approached me and said “ are you ok ? “ - “ Yes I said I’m just messing with my Ear piece “ - “ What do you think of the Bike ? “
“ Great I said , I love it and Thanks for stopping and asking if I was ok “
“ No problem “ , he said and held out his hand for me to shake it - I shook his hand and Thanked him again
I told him my name was James - he said “ my names John - John Bloor , I make those ( pointing at my Bike ! )
What are the chances John Bloor actually stopping and checking that I was ok
I should have got a Photo !

Fitted the Frame sliders, fork sliders and evo tech radiator guard this morning.

I also took a turn off each preload adjuster as there is very little static sag on the bike as it came.

A decent roll bag seems to the best option. Frankie's seemed to work well on the France trip.

I think if you where going to use it every day in all weathers and need luggage then hard boxes are the way to go. Otherwise the roll bag or krieger bags would be a good option.

Hard boxes are great and if i was using it every day or week that would definitely be the way to go. I have people fighting over buying my Multi topbox.

But i think for the one or two trips i do each year, then the roll bag will work fine.

I've got a waterproof 30l roll bag you're welcome to have mate . I managed to get all my gear in it for a euro trip I had planned.

Most agile bike I have ridden, I think. Ever. It would make a fantastic track bike too.

Mine still has Track mode.

And it makes the bike livelier still.

It seems it’s not the Track mode de that was removed but the Track map. Which Triumph claim is the same as the sport map.

Putting the TC setting in track mode does appear to make a difference. I need to go against all male logic here and read the handbook.

It might be similar to mine, all modes give you access to the full 160bhp but just look after you different.

Rain: full TC, ABS, anti wheelie, and anti stoppie.

Road: less of the above, still difficult to wheelie or spin the rear.

Dynamic: much less stuff, it will wheelie and spin but the bike controls it for you. Also has "accoustic enhancements".

Dynamic Pro: needs a thingie plugged in under the seat to activate. Basically your on your own, recommended for the track only. AKA, total **** mode.

Not really decided yet TBH. If it was early in the season i might have used them.

I could put them on the 853 if i keep it.

No new RS bikes now til March next year apparently with 2020 model.
