It's arrived....

Me and mate collected yesterday. Very impressed so far with the quality and finish. The amount of stuff bundled on the XCA as standard is awesome. Only done 1 mile... Now sitting in garage Image. Wife already moaning how long it took to collect the bike. So kinda had to just park it up... And I'm just itching to go to the garage and play..

oh..update.. it's I've been in garage since 1 am adding my after market extras like rear hugger and quadlock phone mounts for last 3 hours... Sneeked out while she fast asleep. She be non the wiser in the morning Image

. Image....

Very nice, I loved my tiger, apart from the wheels corroding from the inside out!! other than that the perfect bike that does everything very well.
I was thinking about another one, however a source has said to me to wait..... could possibly be a new tiger in the wings, with a different engine? bigger but not as bulky as the explorer, Who knows.

I'm surprised Triumph haven't made a more sports/tourer/adventure orientated bike with the latest 1050 engine. Its something that would interest me.

Isn't that what the 1050 Sport does?

Yes but its a very old design and don't think it uses the latest 1050 engine.

Hey Kwaky...

Going back to our chat about looking after the new toy and keeping the old tiger to carry on the work.... Hmmm

Decided to sell... Colleague at work bought it. Even though it's got 100k miles.

So now the new XCA will be used... I guess for what I should be using it for. And not to keep nice and shiny. Although has taken a lot of thought on it.

Now..the task is to get it through a winter without rust or corrosion

I know that one. I've been using the Africa Twin for work which is a bit of a shame really but otherwise I don't get much chance to ride it.

Well done on selling the old one though.

Selling a 100K mileage bike, is a excellent achievement. Keep your new bike nice and shiny as its possible by care and maintenance. New bike looks good.
