I wonder what the reasons are

Post by T.C. »

And we reckon the courts are too lenient here in the UK? :^

It will be interesting to hear why the Judge lowered the penalty when he gives his reasons in 90 days time regarding Nicky Hayden's crash

Well, it was found that Hayden himself was 70% responsible for the accident that cost him his life.....that's a pretty damning finding. He did run a stop sign.....if he'd done that in a car we wouldn't even be contemplating the cause....bicycles always seem to fall into some vague legal category with things of this nature.

I say the judge came to a fairly measured conclusion, give or take a little.
