The opposite is true for me but this is most likely due to a more hunched over the tank riding position of a sports bike. I found a tank bag really restricted my movement on the bike.

I would agree with that Blade.

I think I did try one on my 954 and it didn't work.

I've not had to hunch over the tank when I slip stream a 45 tonne HGV on the M40 so the tankbag has been fine so far. It is also doing a decent job of deflecting the air fow coming up from the tank so I've not really missed the airdam.

It still tickles me that I can get more than 20l of petrol in a motorbike. Takes almost as long as a car to fill up

Hahaha... Same here. I cocked my leg over and got stuck with my thigh on the seat and me foot in the air.... Then tried getting on via footpeg.. ended up getting one foot down but unable to safely remove stand.... At. 30 inch inside leg at best... This was an eye opener.

There's tall and there's down right ridiculous lol... Unless you are tall of course.. Image

I didn't. But Sutton Honda are having a massive clear out sale so I might go over on Saturday to take a look.

I really like the look of Honda branded Arai Tour X-4, but the Scuberth E-1 looks quite practical. Both bloody expensive though

Scratch that. The only cheap ones are silly sizes.

Yeah, I always find a bargain online to discover only sizes left mean I’d have to buy one for each chin....

Time to start looking for some new tyres.

I was hoping to get to the new year before I had to change them but one thing I've learned about biking is you're rarely allowed to save up your pennies.

As much as I would love to take the bike off road there's no where near by and I've got no one to ride with. It's not something I try on my own. So I'm going for a more road based tyre. I reckon the Karoo street should fit the bill.
