I've got a tub of that stuff as well. I've used it on the Versys but not on the AT.

Over the next week weeks I'll give the AT a big clean and probably wheel it to the back of the garage for the winter.

Ok cool.. also a rag drenched in acf50 to rub down all the spokes.. PITA but my main worry. Rusty wheels

A year has flown by. Sadly it's not been used for what I wanted but it's been a busy year at work

Only managed 1000 miles on mine, poor show really. Have major plans for a European adventure next year though.

Pyrenees and wore textiles, second full week in September, glorious weather all week.
Cold when coming home, riding around the M42 on the way home was 8 degrees and getting dark.

Ok good one... I wore my textile gear without the thermal liner.. but last minute decision I threw my mesh jacket in my bag just incase.. the weather was so warm I ended up wearing only a t-shirt and mesh jacket (unzipped) mist the week and mesh gloves .... It would have been unbearable in my Rukka gear.

So definitely next time I will be taking a mesh jacket in addition. But definitely standard gear 'incase' of cooler or rain. The mesh is a 'nice' to have.

I've not ridden it for a while so I thought I would take it over to Sutton Honda for them to take a look at the clutch - there was too much play with the cable and gear changes could be a bit clunky.

It was nice to be back on the big brute. It's not nimble but it's great fun to ride. Loads of road presence and a wonderful noise. It's just a shame it's not being used much.

There's a few places that show it's been through a winter, the usual places like the brake fittings.

But overall it's in good nick.

Time for the Kwacky bling up.

I was looking at replacement skid pans but they're silly money. The OEM one does a really good job but they mark up easily so it quickly looks shit.

I've found a second hand one for £50 so that's on order. Once it's here I'll do a rattle job on it, probably dark grey or something like that.

The bike is really exposed to the elements. If it's going to replace the Versys for the trips into the office I need to get some decent protection for it and the OEM nuts and bolts will need replacing. I'll start looking at kits.

Don't rattle can it it will chip straight away before you've got to the end of the street.

Get it powder coated. Very cheap and hard wearing coating. Just Google someome local and maybe other parts you could also do at the same time as additional items will be minimal cost.
