Isle of Man

Post by duke63 »

I see the carnage has already started on the roads with riders with far less talent thinking they can emulate the racers.

I wonder how long before full on speed limits for the race weeks?

One fatality and numerous RTAs yesterday. IOM Police telling everyone to slow down and be sensible.

I read reports of bikers overtaking police even though the police had their lights on.

I read that overall crime was down at this year's TT. I know that Merseyside police worked with the Isle of Man police to make sure that bikes weren't targeted in Liverpool as they headed to the Island.

Werent targeted, surprised at that as they could be in for a nice christmas bonus! Glad to hear though as i would guess most of the riders wouldnt be wanting to be silly as their bikes are fully loaded etc
