An offer for forum members

Post by T.C. »

Some of you I know choose to wear textile jackets rather than leather.

Some of you may be thinking about changing your textile jacket.

Have you or are you considering an airbag jacket?

If you are thinking about a new jacket, and if you are thinking possibly of an airbag jacket, then have a look at https://www.airvest.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and if you decide to take it further then quote HUDGELL10 and it will entitle you to a 10% discount.

I have seen these jackets in operation for real and they are superb.

They are not the cheapest, but then quality never has come cheap, although in reality they are on a par cost wise with other quality jackets.

If you are coming to the Ace on Friday, Nick from Airvest be there as our guest and will also be on hand and demonstrating the jackets as well as being able to answer any qustions.

But the offer is ongoing, not just for Friday.

Hope this is of interest?

Thanks TC.

Sadly I bought a Klim jacket last year so I'm not in the market for a new one.

The prices look good to me when you compare them to the top end of the textile market.

Do you know how good the waterproofing is?

Peter the UK importer of Helite and owner of Airvest tells me 100% guaranteed waterproof

The airbag is also guaranteed for life providing you have it serviced every 3 years and they have not had any waterproofing issues so far, but if there were, it would be put right.

I have a meeting with Tom Davis motorcycle co-ordinator at Castle Combe on the 14th of this month

We had the guys from Helite at the Ace on Friday as our guests and they had a lot of interest.

Its cracking bit of kit, to be honest and pretty sure a year ago or so a person from our Advanced group had an incident in London while on way to work and he said that thing saved him from broken bones, so it is a worthy investment

I can well imagine

In my capcity as an expert on kit and sitting on various committees I often have to make comment on protective clothing, and having seen the Helite working for real, it is certainly the textile jacket of my choice.

I have a saying that I only recomment kit I will wear, do wear or would wear. Helite is just such a jacket. in the same way that here are a lot of big brands both in terms of clothing and helmets I would not give junk space to.

It would be wrong and unprofessional of me to start naming names on a public forum.

In any case, it is all down to personal opinion

The offer remains in place, so I thought now might be an appropriate time to give the original post a little bump for the benefit of any new members or people who missed the post first time around. :)
