Aww crap!!

Glad you’re ok albeit shaken. Hopefully the bike is easily repaired.

Totally sounds like this isn’t the end of the story, that car load sound dodgy as hell.

^^Yes, Blade.. the bike is replaceable, you are not.

Glad you're physically okay (you haven't mentioned any injuries?) and god knows how you kept upright!

I'm not injured thankfully. I don't remember the car hitting me, just the bike. I can't feel any damage.

I wonder if the car will turn out to be a ringer, running on stolen plates from a matching vehicle.
Do the pictures you took include the faces of the driver & the passengers?

Oh, I just remembered....

The camera is right on the front so it caught nothing.

I've grabbed some work and ridden to a local police station to report it. I didn't want to ride home in the rush hour.

No, nothing. No cameras around that way.

I'll see what the police say, they're calling on Friday.

I'm hoping the lack of interest from the police means it's not nicked.

Dam. I was thinking that at least you had followed them up the slip road, but on re-reading your post they followed you.
Presumably the impact effect will be recorded in the footage though, and it will also help prove that you were impacted whilst riding correctly.??

I was on the road, they joined the road via the slip road.

I’ve just read this thread through and my first thought was exactly what StM has posted above, I’ve got a nasty feeling you’ll find the lad that was driving was nothing to do with the real owner of that car, he was going to go through the motions until you got your phone camera out, any details you may have got would have turned out to be erroneous.

However, the main thing is you are (mostly) ok, fingers crossed you don’t develop any further issues, I’d imagine Mrs Kwacky is worried about you enough without anything else.

Sorry, badly worded by me...
Fwiw I understood that you were on the main road, I was referring to when you pulled over to exchange details mate.
Anyway, the insurance aspect is small potatoes.: It could have been so much worse, and wasn't. You're ok & that's what really matters.

Crap mate, glad your in one piece. Top skills to keep the bike up right.

Hopefully it won't take too long to sort out, and hopefully the bloke was just being a dick. Another thought is that it could all be legal and above board, and he was in a bit of shock and being "informed" by his mates on what to say. Or more likely moroccan woodbines for breakfast..

On the bright side, at least it was the kwack and not the street.
