Bad news - bike is going to be a week later :(

The dealer does at least have dates now. The bike arrives in France on 25th July, so should be with the dealer a little while after that and I can have it the first week of August.

I at least have a timetable now, which is saying something.

This could be the start of an interesting series for you even though they have the RS

Hope it doesn't make you too impatient for yours, I would ask for time on the demo bike to scratch the itch.

Cookie. The package I received is two sliders and four bolts, two of which have sizeable spacers.

It would take you another two weeks to get all the mud off though (giggle)

Ride magazine say that the R is the better bike than the RS. It's got more power under 10,000 revs and the delivery is better.

Yep. It's also got a pull out which is a guide to the best roads in France. If I remember I'll bring them with me.
