Daytona 600 - 2 years of darkness!

Post by jlawie »

Howdy!

Been a long long time since I posted on the Tankslap forums, but once used to frequent here!

After 2 long years of hibernation, its time to pull the Daytona out the garage. Apart from the obvious well over due service, I feel I should treat the old girl to some 'Welcome Back Bling'! (Nothing to pricey mind!)

Shes already got - Gel seat, double bubble screen, Akrapovic, 675 Indicators, R&G bungs, Renthal chain and sprockets

Thinking along these lines....

Carbon Yoke Protector
Carbon Heel Plates
Keyless Filler Cap (stock ones looking a bit beat!)
ASV or Pezzo Levers

Anything else??? 8-|

These levers too good to be true at that price? Anyone given them a try?

I got some Chinese levers last year for the RSV, not the same as those ones though. They quality is OK, obviously not as good as the big manufacturers but good enough for me. I looked at it from the point of view that there where so cheap it didn't really matter much if I didn't like them and just chucked 'em in the bin.

I use medium grips on my bike but the harder ones are fine. The medium do tend to look a bit tired after a few months.
