Yesterday I unlocked it all wheeled it about a bit to keep the bike free and moving then locked it back up again. Exciting stuff. I need a valve clearance service and also new tyres before I start riding her again!

I left it at home. There was a hard frost this morning. The cars were completely white.

I probably should have done the same..

I was thick fog this morning and also cold, but not such a bad frost. You could tell it was cold as after 30 mins riding I stopped for fuel and the front and arms of my jacket where covered in a thin sheet of ice! The handguards and mirrors also had icicles on them

The roads where fine, surprisingly. It was just the fog freezing when it landed on something.

I was tempted to go out today. I got as far as taking the cover off the MV and firing it up.

Realised the battery isn't charging properly and the workshop has a lot of condensation in there... going to grab an electric heater (or possibly a dehumidifier) to counteract the moisture. Also going to raise a complaint on my year old battery

Because of the construction method, all the water that was used in it's manufacture will need to be released.
Fwiw the method I use to avoid moisture & condensation in my garage & bikestore involves neither heating nor a de-humidifier.: I simply open all the doors & windows on COLD DRY days. My theory is that cold dry air carries the least moisture, & any stale damp air within the building is replaced by this fresh air.
Anyway, it seems to work .

Did you fit air bricks and ventilation in your workshop when you built it? If so condensation is unusual.

Solid blocks and vented bricks. 2 inches of insulation on 3 of 4 walls (south facing wall isn't insulated). Roof has 4 inches of insulation. I keep the smallest window on the catch most of the time because of the petrol fumes
