Maybe it was, after all it has just been to Hampton Court Palace for Radio 2's 500 words finals.

Daft question I know but how did you know it was a 1909 vintage?
Was there a makers plate or similar?

Rode it carefully over to the mechanics to get the fork seals done and an oil change. Was going to take it on the trailer but the barge of a bike didn’t fit.

Both jobs i’d normally do myself but I didn’t want to go stuffing with electronic controlled ohlins with no specialist tooling by myself.

Yesterday i done a load of jobs.

Washed it and ACF'd it fully

I added rim tape and also a manufacturer decal on the wheels. This was pretty tricky because its hard to line everything up correctly. Ill be honest its not prefect but for a first attempt it was good and if you are just looking at it then you wouldnt notice it to be fair so happy for now

Also added the slip on, havemt tried it yet as letting the ACF creep into places

Also added the tail tidy. I spent all day doing it all. But looking good and happy with all the jobs

Gave it a bloody good clean and Polish, spent a few hours on it this morning. Went out for a quick ride, booked the bike in for a service at the end of July they are rammed as usual.

Removed the washers from the QS sensor and reprogrammed it as per instructions given. According to the app it is now only registering up shifts so should be all good.

Didn't get a chance to test it unfortunately :(

And sold the 675. Little sad to see it go. I think I may have another in my life at some stage as they are a great little bike

The grip glue failed on the throttle as I was riding into work, which was a bit scary. At first I thought the engine was losing power.

I had to dig my fingertips into the grip to keep the pressure on the throttle tube. My hand is killing me.
