Literally haven't done anything to it for weeks apart from the other day...I took the cover off it, took a look at it then placed the cover back over it!

I thought I would use Big Bertha for the commute today.

It was a horrible ride this morning. Heavy rain, loads of spray, windy and dark. Hopefully it's s bit drier on the way home.

Took the GB for a bimble. Left hand has started to go numb so don’t think there is many rides before my surgery left in me.

Did a top speed run. 135 km sitting up and 140 km tucked. 30 odd HP runs out of legs real quick (lol)

Haha.. love the top speed effort!

My 125 2 smoker supermoto was the best one for me.. 82mph on the limiter, however, going up what is locally known as a "f*ck-off big hill" I still achieved 78mph!!! It was very heavily restricted by gearing. Before the accidental gearing change (dealer gave me 15T not 16T) it would do over 90.

My favuorite top speed effort was on a suzuki v strom 650, I had it as a courtesy bike while mine was in a shop, 120mph it maxed out at, well the speedo did, the bike still felt like it was edging up slightly. (closed road of course ;) )

Just got it washed off and was drying it when the ran came down. It's back under the cover.

I may have to try naughty mode tomorrow.

Started stripping the 853 down to replace the sprag clutch and fit the carbon airbox.

The Abba Skylift is a genius piece of kit. I can move the bike around on the stand to get to any section very easily, a god send when working in a restricted space.

As above. The bike is now back to clean and up on its stands for winter. Doubt it will move much now until the sun starts to shine again.Image

Took it for its first MOT.

You look after your bikes and maintain them well, but its still always good to hear they've past (y)

Just had a think about what my bike would fail on if I took it to an MOT today...:
No Number plate
No headlights/sidelights/indicators/brake lights
No reflector
It would almost definitely fail on the brakes if they test the brakes cold because of having carbon pads fitted currently

No advisories (y) but he is a bit deaf and has been for the past 12 or so years, hence why I like him so much (giggle)

Bit like the guy I used to use for the RSV. He once said to me, the test is about how safe the bike is not how quickly I can swap over to standard trim.
