Pulled the covers off and gave them a check over. Covers back on.

Week today before I’m allowed out of my yard.

Took it out to lead the missus round for a bit in the sunshine. Got pulled out on by a Belgian on the way back, who was then rude to me, didn't have his wing mirrors folded out, decided to see if his stuck on M badge could outrun a biker on his local turf, while trying to show off to his son in the passenger seat.

He decided to stop being a dick when i rode up next to him while he was accelerating hard and gestured to him to speed up. Ah well.... :D

Today I changed the exhaust can and converted the tail light wiring in to a Y lead for the Rizoma indicators using a weatherproof connector, the wire has only just shown up so I will wire them in tomorrow ready for Sunday's ride.

So my pads actually had a lot of meat on them but they were definitely dead.. SO much more lever pull required than previous sessions, even when I went for the stronger brake ratio on the RCS 19.

The discs are also showing some fairly significant comet tails from the drill holes too which have been braking up the edge of the pad.

Oh.. and a little GoPro screen grab of my mate's BMW that I rode in Portugal

Stunning day out with the bike today, bit on the warm side but hey there could be worse weather problems...

Headed off south and had to deal with the usual mob of wobblers heading to loomies on their 30 mile "rideout" to talk crap and drink tea... Once past that the fun started to begin, after a poodle round the new forest near beaulieu and lymington I ended up at milford on sea and a quick stop for tea and a snack. Sticking the satnav on it was time to hightail it home before getting some grief, ignore motorways set lets pick a route and go. I had no idea where I was heading but it turned out to be a belter of a route, fast flowing A roads one after another pretty much all the way home. I stuck the bike in dynamic pro and unleashed the beast the whole way back.

One fun part was rolling up behind a street trippple coming up to a national speed limit... You could see the rear of the bike squat as they pinned it, so I did the same.... Lets just say I wasn't behind for long :D :D (bandit) (bandit) (devil)

Scrubbed the chain on the MV. It's the OEM one. It's still in good shape so it doesn't need replacing but it is studyying to look a bit jaded. A replacement can wait until next year.

Took it out for a very warm ride.

When I got home the wife genuinely thought the noise was thunder. (devil)

Took it for a very frustrating early morning ride around the cotswolds ,dodging cages driven by old biddies
I need to get this bike on track or around Europe the roads seem to have got horribly clogged up around here

I took the front end apart the other day and ordered the proper oil level setting tool for the forks.

Now I need to give the calipers a good clean, put the new pads in and bleed the brakes fully with new fluid.

I'm reducing the air gap by 10mm to prevent bottom out and remove some of the preload from the forks. It's the reason I kept running on at turn 1
