I think the detail is etched into the top, rather than the rear, as it looks like in the photo. Turn them over and you would not see any of it.

Forward ? these are on the rear are they not...
The one in this picture lets say on the right if i were looking from the back of the bike to the front, if fitted on the left would be facing backwards as it should , and the logo/writing would be the right way up. I dont see that as OCD, you wouldn't put your number plate on upside down would you?

if he puts the one in the photo on the opposite side the writing will be the correct way round you numpties !

The writing is on the top, not on the back. It's just the way the photo is. They're on the right way.
