Nice one. It'll be interesting to see how much of a difference it makes.

Spanked it (lol)

S3 is a lovely road bike. Give it 15-20 more bhp and another 2000rpm and it would be almost perfect (y)

Had an essential run out to Lucy's at Stow, they posted that they will be open for take away cake and coffee from 10am today until 12.
My belly said this was trip that needed to be done ha ha, hence essential.
Arrived at 9.30 am LMAO.... such lovely roads on the way up, and back as it happens.
This is the longest I have been on the bike for ages, really, really enjoyed that run..... not so many bikes out on the way up, but on the way back, getting very busy with bikes, and more than two in a group.... obviously from big house holds !

They look even better now I've seen the other pic 8) (angel)
Just noticed apart from the Ducati branding these are identical to the Triumph LED ones, just more expensive (blush)

Thought I should make sure it starts before it's MOT tomorrow.

Typical BMW, even though it's been of the road for a couple of months. Starts on the button, even the tyre pressures where bang on. All lights are led so very unlikely to fail.

Take a spare dipped beam Halogen BULB because if the LED gives an iffy beam pattern on the MOT equipment it will fail, high beam just has to work so LED is no problem.

Took it for it's MOT, it passed.

Taken the long way home too see if the H Cafe was doing takeaway's. They've got a van in the carpark so I'm now munching a bacon sarni in the sun.

I won't lie, it's good to be back out on the bike.ImageImage

Went for a ride with some mates today and had a good laugh and decent ride. I fitted the Sportsmart TT after a recommendation from the Dunlop Rep at the NEC show. Sounded the perfect fast road / trackday tyre compromise.

Supposed to be between the regular sportsmart3 and the GP Racer.

In 600 mile they have worn 2mm so I don't expect much more than 1200 miles from the rear (swear) worst thing is, I had a decent slide on them today as well (poo emoji :?) so I'm not convinced there that grippy either tbh.

Don't think I will be getting another set.

For fast road and track I dont think you can beat the Supercorsa but they dont last long and they are expensive.

I was surprised how much difference it made even to my Street Triple when I took them off for the M7RR.

Tbh Duke I think these have worn quicker than a Supercorsa and were supposedly similar performance.

My mate used the Sportsmart TT in Portimao and it did really well for him.. barely wore in. He may not be as quick as you and it was on a purely 675. Starting to think this is a poor comparison :D

I wouldnt say I'm quick tbh Cav, and I've got them on the s3 not the 1299, but in fairness for road riding they have had some spirited rides (giggle)

I actually bought them for a 3 day Euro trackday but now thats cancelled and they were fitted on in readiness for the TD, I may as well use them on the road.
