Cheers

So far I have a couple booked in June up at Snetterton but looking to do a couple this month too - possibly Brands, but also got an itch to go up to Cadwell for the first time (devil)

I've not done Cadwell for about 12 years.

I still think Cadwell is my favourite track ridden to date.

I had a play with them this morning. They do come on strong but I wouldn't call them snatchy.

I guess it depends on your preferences. I do like strong brakes.

I'm used to the engine braking of the twin, especially after it's been geared down it does slow down pretty damn quickly. I guess this has probably made me a lot lighter on the brakes.

Reminded myself it's just 2 days before I get new tyres, which is a relief as these are shot. I'll be riding motoX style on the way home.

Had new tyres fitted.

Took the 748 for its MOT. Passed OK.

Fortunately there is a place opened about 2 minutes from home that does bike MOT's and seems a decent set up. All friendly bikers.

Rode it for a few miles down one of my fave roads afterwards just to warm the engine through properly, washed last weekend's flies off when i got back and put it away just as the heavens opened. Good timing.

Parked the bike up in my brother-in-laws garage for safe keeping while I'm on holiday.

It's going to be odd working in the shed tomorrow without the bike there for company..

Not today but at the weekend. Went to 675 fest in Wales. What a ride, amazing roads even if the weather was shite and the wind was up to 60 mph. Got blown around so much and could barely see in front of us but was part of the fun!!

And you guys didn't even get out coz of a little rain!! Pussays!! Though I had all my waterproofs on and they did a sterling job!! :-)

Nice one Rossgo sounds a good trip and glad you managed to enjoy yourself despite the challenging conditions (y) I would have cried of the first sign of rain (blush)

Which roads did you ride ? sounds like some where I need to go, but only when its dry, haha LOL ;)

It was such a long ride, we started in Wem, headed for the horse shoe pass, pandorsa cafe, bewts y coed (unsure how to spell it, headed to confon (again no idea how to spell it!) then headed back to wem about 200miles in total for Sat ride! I haven't got a clue what roads we took though was just amazing even with the elements against us! Don't think I've ever experienced wind like it tbh!

Very fun weekend. Need to go there again but when the weather is nice and can wear leathers, the views would be amazing :-)

Think this was horse shoe pass

This was before the rain!! Didn't take any more pics after this was travelling constantly. And couldn't stop and take pics :-(

Rossgo - we do head out that way on tankslap rideouts. Poderosa is easy to find.

I'll try and organise another Welsh run. My efforts so far have been thwarted by the weather.

You can see why I don't like doing a ride out that way as the wind is worse than the rain when the weather is bad.

I can fully understand it's the worst I've been in and I generally don't mind the rain or wind but that was just ridiculous. Although good for experience and skill in certain aspects, it's not something I will be trying to find again!!

I enjoy your ride outs Kwacky always keeping a eye out for them I'm sure as the weather improves there will be more ride outs over in Wales.
