Sorry to hear about the bike mate. Any chance of claiming the ferry tickets on travel insurance ?

Glad the dealer is sorting things out as previously mentioned many wouldn't especially on an older classic.

The Z650 plans sound very interesting. you got any photos ?

Ah right, tbh I had a quick look last week and saw the Renthals and thought they didn't do them in black for what I wanted, might be a bit of retail therapy happening tonight to cheer meself up :)

I may well give em a ring and see if I can change the dates for later in the year, if not it was £59 down the tubes, seem to haemorrhaging money right now, ah well, I have some photo's of the Kwak but I need to get them in to some sort of order, may well stick them up in the projects section, its a slow burner mind and not running to a timescale

Rode it into work ready for the MOT today. Glad I did as the traffic on the M4 was shite...

MOT passed (party) advisory for a worn bush on the suspension.. Now the bike is 10 years old I'm happy with results like that..

Nice one mate. Should be easy enough to change a bush as well.

Got absolutely soaked on the way home.. Then found out they have been muck spreading today round our way as the road was thick in shit, literally !! Plus where it had been raining so hard the road was awash in shit filled water. That's made the bike slightly dirty, and better than that I'm working from the shed tomorrow so have to sit next to it all day (puke)

There should be a law that forces farmers to take responsibility for the mess they make, might help encourage them not to make such a mess..

I think my mid-morning break might include giving the bike a quick wash off if it's not raining.

I'd make them get off their horse, bend over in their tight jodhpurs and give them a good spanking with the whip......but maybe that's just me. :D

FYI I spent many of my formative years in the company of young fillies like the ones you describe.
From what I recall, a good proportion would be well up for that mate. (nod)

IMO they made far more interesting company for a teenage StM than a male soccer team would have done. (blush)

I wish I could have, by the time it stopped raining and I had eaten it was virtually dark. I also start work at 8 so cleaning it before work wasn't going to happen. I think it will be my lunch break job if the rain holds off.

Not today, but over the past week...
All for the Zx10r:
Picked the bike up after its dyno and PC mapping at MSS Kawasaki. (dyno run result pic below)
Finished off the track fairing, lacquered and applied a couple of decals
Got some new track orientated tyres fitted
Whilst the wheels are off, I have ordered some new pads which will be fitted over the next couple of days
Then once the wheels are back on I will be doing and oil & filter change then its ready for its first outing (clap) (clap)
