that would be a an interesting convo lol. Although if it's an older generation tech I wouldn't be surprised if he'd turn around and say he used to do it all the time when he was younger lol

Washed it.

Not the full polish and wax that I wanted to do, but given that it started raining whilst I was shampooing it was never going to happen.

Had time for wheel cleaner, snow foam, shampoo washed most of it before it started spitting, finished that, rinsed it off then wheeled it back into the garage to dry it.

No mate, I think that's a step too far for me.

A microfibre drying towel will do me for now.

Bike4Life Fest today.

3500 bikes of all shapes and sizes, old, new, some falling apart, plenty of 3 wheelers (including one that was towing a trailer which had 2 dogs in it!!!), absolutely all sorts.

I've done it twice now, and although I'm realising it's not really my sort of event it is raising money for a great cause, and my daughter was itching to do it so I'm not going to turn down daddy/daughter bike time either.

Having the A5 and M54 closed off for us was pretty cool, as was Holly on the back waving, dabbing and high-fiving spectators.

Into the festival part at Cosford and we treated ourselves to some overpriced food, had a mooch around some of the stands, watched a stunt display and then made our 0.5 mile journey home last about 5 miles, because y'know, the bike needed to stretch it's legs! (bandit)

The event raised over £87,000 for Midlands Air Ambulance last year, so all in all it was worth going.

Some pics from today...

Trying to book it in for a service but it turns out that the dealer which I bought the bike from have made a mess of the paperwork... I'm on to one who know their stuff now so it will get sorted but I have had to Email some info through for them to look at in the morning.

Not today, but Good Friday. Rode it through a mobile speed camera at somewhere between !)% and %), in a %). I wouldn't mind, but I've only ridden it twice since September 2018 (including Good Friday)

Hopefully, they'll let me keep the photo of a ZX6 touching the front fairing down!

Any chance of a “retraining course” instead of the points Monty?

No idea yet, 14 days this Friday.

I haven't got any points, so may get the course but will depend on the speed.

It was on the A6 and very obvious! Just wasn't concentrating.

My own fault, I broke one of my golden rules. Always stick to within 10 to 20 mph of the limit on Peak District 50mph A roads.

Showed it a close up of a McLaren Sueprcar front splitter (shocked)

Was yesterday but riding home on a local road a McLaren 570 coming the other way at fair old lick of speed, hit a big dip in the road and stepped sideways a good foot towards me.

You could see the whites of the eyes of the fear struck McLaren driver (giggle)

I bet your sphincter puckered at the thought of the sum of the claim and your increased premiums too :D
