Too the 748 for a run out to Tamworth, found some new roads which joined up nicely with the B4098 dorm to Fillongley. Stopped for a drink at a fuel station and couldn't stop a guy who wanted to talk about my bike. Lovely morning, warm and sunny all the way.
Its now hoofing it down with rain at home.

Rattled it around the roads of Rutland.
My rear brake line gave way. I need to remove the line and wash the bike.

Ha I was soldering silver it's a wet day hobby of mine when I can't get out I solderC00kiemonster wrote:I like a woman who can solder . What you soldering? electrics or leading?
Got out early and the roads were quiet and free.
Managed to have a bimble through Wantage , East Ilsley ,Compton and a few other roads which some were dead ends
Stayed clear of the Cotswolds as was pretty sure it would be heaving, Mr BB did that route and stumbled across a scooter rally at Bourton. Cant say I didn't warn him.
Not a great distance approx 80 miles but 80 miles of freedom and stress relief and was great to get out.
Bike is looking filthy and was in 2 minds to give her a clean, but thought bugger it back into the she cave and it will get done another day
Hope everyone had a good one if they went out today and hope all returned safely

Blade, I'm going to get the full set. I may as well. I prefer them to rubber hoses.
Biker Discount Store give us a discount so I'll give them a call tomorrow.

Hel Lines for all round ordered. I've gone for the race two line set up rather than the stock split line.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Got it wet. Needed to get the rear suspension checked out as the MOT pulled up a worn bush. It is indeed worn and needs to be replaced pronto.
Also got them to noise check the cans. Ahem, bit fruity is an understatement. I reckon I would get kicked of the track at a noisy day. Going to look at fitting some baffles behind the end caps to tone it down a bit.
Interestingly though, the guy said he wouldn't have a problem MOT'ing them as he's more interested in safety than whether I can change to standard cans.

Fitted a special bracket that is supposed to help tighten the gear change on the rc8, quite a neat bit of kit and easy to install

Had a chat with a white van man at a set of lights. He was jealous I hadn't sat in the two mile tailback like him and the other cagers. Fair play to him, he wasn't being an arse.
