I did have a cautious dangling foot on a couple of long left handers this morning.

Connected my heated gloves up and also taped up the front part of the tank so it doesn't scratch it up!!

got the heated grips connected.

the other day it got claustophobic on the housing estate we live on so i made a break for the hills

when i set off it was sunny but once i had gradually climbed 160 m up to nettlebed nr henley i was frozen

this is before i got the grips sorted, the weather can be deceptive and you can't trust the forcast

Mot done. Bike passed. Amazingly.
Tyres switched to angels too. Was a weird feeling going from newish super corsas to slightly squared tyres. You normally go the other way.

Next job is to put my low boy race system on

New Hoops fitted today on the road bike, not managed to run out as it started raining when I finished getting the wheels back on.
Raised the rear sets on the gixer, I kept catching the pegs at Cartagena which was not clever.

yesterday i went to my local bike garage and the bloke there said he had a customer in with these soopa doopa heated gloves that were powered by a battery rather than being plugged into the bike,

That must be some rechargeable battery, i think it takes about 5w to heat each, apparently the heat output lasts between 3 and 4 hours.

Took a few parts off.......

I'd been noticing a whiff of petrol every time I took the cover off that's slowly got stronger so I thought it time to find and sort the problem. Traced it to the fuel pump panel which, sadly, was tucked in behind the rear shock absorber and a right pig to get to...... Several hours later and with a bit of Loctite gasket sealent around the fuel pump panel I'm hoping it's sorted.

Had a good ride out, Breakfast at Benson, and found a new place in Wiltshire for afternoon cake. Rained all morning and stayed wet all day on the road. The bike looked like I had been Moto crossing.....
tyres not scrubbed in, still have the bloody writing and lines painted on still lol......
All good experience, put the bike into rain mode for the first time in yonks, where's it stayed all day.

I have the RST heated gloves and the battery really is not that big, they heat the back of your fingers/hand and work brilliantly for that 3-4 hours, 2 on full power but that would take serious wind chill to make it necessary.

Today I did a nice 70 miles around the local area and up to Squires, first ride in over a month and without connecting the charger the bike barked into life instantly, got to love that crossplane growl... Didn't use the heated gloves though, Richa cold protects were enough for today, but I did have the RST's in the tank bag.

Rode into work. Weather forecast said it was going to be dry. It wasn't

The rear tyre is starting to noticeably square off so I guess I need to look at getting a new one. But there's loads of tread depth left so I'm not in a massive rush.

ordered a new fuel cap to replace the cracked one finally and some new bar ends as the ones that are on the bike show a few signs of corrosion and really let the rest of the bike down I feel. Not much but nice to have a couple of bits to do once it arrives as its not getting ridden much at the moment.
