Bloody hard work!

Post by Cavetroll87 »

So as you guys know I've been spending a lot of time in the garage recently play in with the bike well she is pretty much done. There's a few little bits left to do including a full and overdue service but I'm very happy with how she has come out.

I'm not mad on the rim tape, but then that's a personal thing.

That aside, I think it looks the nuts mate. Look forward to seeing it in the flesh soon.

I didnt realise the rim tape was reflective until I took the photo so I think it looks better in real life, I did the tape to match the Superbike as close as possible

Doesn't look too bad for a nearly 9 year old bike!

If you're the same as me, when I replaced the plastics on my cbr, you'll treat it like having a new bike.

Did the same with the RSV, well until I dropped it at Donny..

Something about a change of scheme does make it feel like a new bike though.

Is this your road bike. Hope to see it if it is at some point. Ps I like the reflective rim tape makes it stand out [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH]

I really like it, the new clothes make it look a lot more purposeful, of course looking like that I've got to ask the question - are you taking it on a trackday?

Yeah wanna get on more trackdays this year, the new employment means I have a bit more flexibility and the funds to hopefully make it a bit more regular

That looks mint! Would prefer both wheels to have matching rim tape, blue or red but not both! Apart from that really like it. (y)
