Re: It exists - RCV roadbike?
This is the info I got back from Doble
At the moment though the bikes is still a prototype. I would be stunned if for some reason it didn’t make it into production but the official word is that Honda are ‘studying the possibility of mass producing this model’. Therefore we still can’t confirm if and when it will arrive here nor the specifications or price. I will keep your details on my file though and let you know as soon as I hear anything more. We have set up and dedicated web page specifically for this bike which you can find here, we will keep this updated with official news when we get it but there are some good quality images on there that you can download in the meantime.

WOW now that would be game changer. Motogp bikes in SBK and BSB, not to mention Snake Pass and the Cat and Fiddle.Blade wrote:Honda are ‘studying the possibility of mass producing this model’.

Re: It exists - RCV roadbike?
Honda are keeping tight lipped about the bike . they are not committing to putting it in too production as off yet.
It will hopefully be at the NEC at the end of the month to gauge the response of you lads & lasses .
We have a dealer conference at the end of this month . may find more out at that .
They will probably ask dealers to pre order the bikes they think they can sell to get an idea if it’s worthwhile doing .
Price wise we haven’t got a clue .

Intersting quote
"the chassis, the footrests, the cycle parts, the fuel tank, the throttle bodies, the crankcases, the forks, the swingarm… they’re exactly the same as Marc and Dani’s."
Rumour has it they will hand make only 213

“Price-wise it’s going to be expensive – it’s been quoted that it’s going to be 200,000 euros plus, or whatever…”

Re: It exists - RCV roadbike?
They need to pull their finger out. Leave it longer than a year and everything will have moved on a step and that model will be obsolete.
It needs to be a special bike too and not a watered down replica.
The model displayed with the Japanese flag symbol doesn't run apparently.
