Re: Waterproof gloves
That looks much better. Mine are textile and slowly absorb the water. Eventually it seeps through to your hands and fingers. Then the windblast/chill freezes them off.
found mine on that site

Re: Waterproof gloves
Given the miles you do I think it's worth investing in a good pair. The RST ones are better than the Alpinestar ones I've got.

That reminds me the police riders who are out all day in all weathers wear Hein Gericke gloves

Re: Waterproof gloves
I gave up on waterproof boots and gloves and went for over gloves, and over boots with a good two piece wet weather set. Has the advantage of being truly waterproof and still having your every day gloves/boots and thus being more economical. I could fit the whole kit under my Daytona seat and use it as necessary.
These are the over gloves http://www.rain-off.com/Buy_Products.php bloody brilliant kit. On my trip to Phillip Island everyone laughed at me when I pulled them out as we hit wet weather. Three days later we got to the island and had torrential rain the whole time. Most of the group asked where I had got them, my kit was bone dry.

Happiness is not a destination. It is a way of life.

Re: Waterproof gloves
Yes, I think a decent set of gloves are also in order. Especially with the dropping temps.
Also tempted by hand guards and heated grips.

Re: Waterproof gloves
I got Hein Gericke too they are 3 finger muffs. I bought them after riding in some silly temperatures and when I got home I was so cold, confused (I couldn't remember how to put my steering lock on the bike) felt very dizzy and when I got in I took my helmet off and passed out for a few minutes! Dad got me to Hein Gericke a couple days later and got me them and they have paid for themselves. Wow what a difference that has made, they are still as good as new like Bratty has mentioned and 100% waterproof handling 675 2014 Wales monsoon storms plus the rest of the winter riding I have done wouldn't have anything else!!
