Re: Supercharged Kawasaki H2 ninja
I imagine the dealers are going to be very twitchy when it comes to test rides.

I love the mix of full on racer/industrial look it has, my first thought was - where's the rest of the bodywork? But now it's looking just street fighter nasty. Even if they wind down the street version to 220bhp it's still going to kill most bikes out there, especially if they can make it handle.
Re their H2 advertising, the H2 looked a lot more conventional than this, it isn't a poster bike in the way the 916 was, this is a cage fighter on 2 wheels.

Individually there are some nice touches on there but as a whole it still looks like it was designed by ten different departments which is what Kawasaki claim to be the case anyway.

Re: Supercharged Kawasaki H2 ninja
I imagine the road version will follow the same shape but will probably look a lot more production than the H2R. Let's be honest, most track riders and racers don't care too much about the looks.

Re: Supercharged Kawasaki H2 ninja
Yep. 998cc IL4 by the look of it. I presume they've used the zx10r engine and worked from there.
I see it's got a hydraulic clutch as well.

It's definitely growing on me, but it still looks unfinished and messy without the lower fairing.

"The H2R has 300ps (295.9BHP) at the crank, 270bhp at the wheel"
Reckon they're gonna need some more aero

Re: Supercharged Kawasaki H2 ninja
I see they're saying that the road version will be 250bhp, which seems about right for a zx10r with a supercharger on it. Price estimate according to the gossip is £25k for the road and twice that for the R version.

Seems like you will need a pilot's licence rather than a road licence for this
That frame looks very similar to the Pierobon frames designed for the Panigale.

Re: Supercharged Kawasaki H2 ninja
You need to ask one of the people who will buy one of the alleged 15 bikes coming to the UK

Re: Supercharged Kawasaki H2 ninja
Sounds like the Desmosedici all over again, except its half the price and 50% more power.
