Anybody in the midlands heard of them or used them, they are advertising in my local news paper for motorcycle MOTs, bike repairs and servicing, I'm gonna give them a call today for prices but thought I'd ask if anyone had any dealings with them or know someone who has, it's literally 5 mins from my house and is open on my day off Wednesday's so wouldn't have to book time off to get my bike sorted like I normally do.

I see they do valet service for the bikes for £50. Mine needs a good strip down.

I had a quick Google and couldn't see any horror stories. However googling retrofit was a bit vague and I ended up reading about retrofitting electric folding mirrors onto a BMW 7 series. It can be done if anyone wondered lol? Far too easily distracted!

I can do that. What I need is a proper deep clean. I might have a go when I swap the fairings.

Will do Duke I've also been given a number of a guy who's very local to me just had a chat on the phone to him sounds like a nice guy and definitely knows what he's talking about, I'm gonna pop and see him next week have a proper chat and show him my bike.

I think you had a lucky escape IMHO. Somewhere that does bikes, cars and washing is never going to be top draw IMO.

Go with the the other guys recommendations would be my advice. I know Kwacky is always happy where he goes and assume that's pretty local to you.

Found a company called Black Country Motorcycles for my service,decent price and they advertise what they do for the price.

I would go Honda dealer or where Kwacky goes mate.

Most of what the above advertised garage do is just check levels when reality is coolant and brake fluid could need changing as its a requirement every two years. Also they change engine and gearbox oil as two sperate jobs. I would ask how they do that as its the same oil in the same sump, its not a car engine. Also why a different price depending on cc I cannot see any justification for such.

Just my thoughts. Goes without saying feel free to ignore me but IMO servicing takes care and passion where as that place seems like ticking boxes IMO.

I fell out with them a few years back. Had the bike booked in for a job which would take at most an hour. I got there and they told me to leave the bike and pick it up the next day. I pointed out we had agreed a time and I had no way to get home "Get a bus then" was their helpful reply. I took the bike and haven't been back.

I've heard mixed stories about them as well.

The Honda garage might not be cheap but you know them and trust them. That's priceless IMO.

I think Mike is too far away for you unless he's picking up your bike. 01608 664122 is his number if you want to give him a call. Plus he's a massive northern soul fan.

What they said Bratty, plus that list makes no mention of checking the valve clearance and I'm fairly certain that will need doing at 12k. That's at the very least means taking all the fairings off to get at the rocker cover and on some bikes you have to drop the engine to get the cover off.

It's not going to be cheap but the first valve check it's probably the most important service in the bikes life. I'd try saving money on the intermediate services instead.

Sorry to seem negative mate but you have a nice bike and you also rely on it for transport as well as fun so IMO worth going somewhere with a reputation, quality control, OEM quality parts and fluids and also come back if needed.

Plus if you got a quote from Honda or other reputable workshop price would be similar as a part from oil and filter change the rest is just simple checks so 1/2 labour at most and that's if they actually do them.
