Annual Isle of Man Trip

Post by Kwacky »

I know we talked about it on the old site. The thinking then was to do a UK weekend but nothing came of it.

I'm still happy to get something sorted for early September if anyone else wants to join me? If the TT weekend sees any more closures due to muppets it could be our last chance to legally break the sound barrier (rock)

Usual weekend of riding up to Liverpool and the ferry over on the Friday then come back Sunday afernoon.

Any interest?

Depends when and cost really I'd absolutely love to, but one of those things I just never seem to have the cash to do

The ferry over is the biggest cost.

The savings will usually be minimal doing that unless you can cram about 6+ bikes in the van.

And it's a lot of hassle co-ordinating things, loading the van, electing a driver and getting everyone in the van.

I've been thinking about this quite seriously, and think it's going to have to be a no.

Financially I've got a choice to make, it's either a couple of track days or a trip to the IOM. Given the Euro track day next year and I haven't been on a track for at least 3 years I really need to do some track days.

It's a suggestion thread. If no one is interested it won't happen. If you want to propose some other dates throw them in the ring.

I would love to go but just looked at my diary and really hard to find any availability tbh.

If others suggested dates and I'm free I may try and squeeze a trip in but tbh its looking more like next year for me.
