I took the MV out for a spin and enjoyed the relatively quiet roads

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
I bedded in my new pads (SBS RS and the rear EBC HH pads) over the B/H weekend
The SBS RS doesn't feel that different to the Brembo OEM at slow speeds (30 or 40MPH) However it blinking feels different when you are going close to *cough cough cough* speed while on private roads. Completely different animal. Powerful and seem to slow you down quickly, almost feeling like they throw you out of your seat, really feel that lovely G Force.
Want to test out the Bendix MRR - This will be my next pad

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
After Kwacky's reminder yesterday of how good early evening roads are, I went out myself this evening.
The Multi pulls so hard at 6500rpm in third just as the DVT kicks in it feels like something is trying to wrestle me off the bike. Lovely.

Another cold morning.
Made even colder as I still had all my vents open on my jacket

3 days of rain are forecast, so that's probably it for the decent weather until June.

Wasn't too bad here this morning, rode without the lining in the jacket and the vents open.Kwacky wrote:Another cold morning.

Raining now though so probably won't be as much fun of the way home.

It wasn't, it was flipping cold. I'm putting the lining back in the jacket tonight.D6Nutz wrote:Wasn't too bad here this morning, rode without the lining in the jacket and the vents open.Kwacky wrote:Another cold morning.

Took it off the paddock stands, wheeled it out of the garage, checked the lights and horn worked for it's MOT tomorrow, got disgusted at the state of it (haven't touched it apart from starting it in December), fired it up to make sure it works, turned it off, wheeled it back into the garage.
That's the most "biking" I've done since July!

Rode along the motorway wondering where the Africa Twin gets it air temp reading from. It was not 8 degrees this morning.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
MOT passed.
Bike was complimented by the tester, who then took the piss a little bit as I've only done 500 miles since the last one.
Yep, a fair cop!
And then I reminded myself on the way home how nippy the bike was.

He He yeah, the original number plate was so small I had to change it, the cans were second hand off fleabay, not that you would know they are in great nick and at £200 for 2 cans with link pipes....bargain.Blade wrote:Crikey you don't hang around Enjoy the noisekingfixer wrote:Fitted new number plate and a pair of pipewerx cans on the 660

I may end up just rolling with it... "well ya know, when insurance costs so much you may as well just do it all illegally"
