Glad to hear you got away with it Frankie. We've all done it. I did it on the Isle of Man a few years ago. The driver on my side spotted it and moved over to the left. The oncoming car was under trees and was dark in colour, so I didn't see it.

Moved them around in the garage so the Multi is the easiest to get out first.

Daylight from the off this morning and no need for the heated grips.

Ditto - on the mountain being over optimistic. I think Frankie was behind me then - it was his fault :D

Froze my nads off this morning, even with thermal layers and heated grips.

It might be the car for next week if it's going to get colder.

We've been told to expect -20C next week in the Peaks, lowest since 2010.

An 80 mile run around the Peak on the 690 taking in as many bumpy B roads and single track lanes as I could find ..... A bit cold but still satisfying to be out on the bike for a few hours.

My bike is wrapped up for the week. There's no way I'm riding into work in these temps.

Feel your pain, starting to cool off back home too. I'll be going back to high 20's - low 30's (deg C), bloody killer

Parts of the UK have high 20s and low 30s. That's minus 20s and minus 30s.

ha ha! that has happened (not to me) once or twice before, it doesn't make it a fun flight for anyone so I've been told. 1.5 hr journey :x

Been working at home today and managed to sneak an hour out on the Multi. Felt so good to be out on the bike on mainly dry roads though we still have a few 4 ft drifts beside the road in places. Like being in the Alps.

Just need some warm Tarmac now.
