To be fair, the blame is with the media and Cameron's Tory Party because there were fabricated news stories saying that the British people wanted to leave the EU. It wasn't until some time afterwards that British people were trying to get a referendum. If those stories weren't fabricated there wouldn't have been a referendum and we would just have to listen to Scotland trying to leave the UK.

At least this is the earliest thing I'm aware of that influenced Brexit

But brexit isn't about racism....

EU citizens are being offered financial incentives to leave the UK, the Guardian has learned, months before the deadline to apply for settled status.

The EU has granted full equivalence based market access for the US clearing houses with no limits.

This basically means that the EU banks can deal with US clearing houses a lot easier and quicker. New York is essentially reclaiming businesses it lost to the UK in the 70s. This is a kick in the teeth for London.

Ongoing arguments over Article 16 (created by the UK Government because they forgot about Ireland and the Good Friday Agreement) proves that Brexit is never going to go away. We haven't got Brexit done, this is just the start of it.

At a recent meeting of
THE POPULAR FRONT FOR SOVEREIGNTY OF GAMMONSHIRE

“These remoaners just won't shut up. I can't understand it, I mean what harm has Brexit ever done to us".
A hand goes up "The Fishing industry".
"Oh yes, I'll grant you that, apart from the Fishing industry, what harm has Brexit ever done to us"
Another hand: "Unexpected charges on Ebay purchases"
"OK, apart from The fishing industry and unexpected charges, what harm...."
"farming" - someone shouts
"Hauliers" - someone else
“Posting a birthday card abroad”
"wine imports" ... "the music industry" ... "fashion" ... "retiring abroad" ... shouts come in fast
"exporters" ... "banking" ... "the integrity of the UK" ... "security cooperation" ... "companies moving operations out of the UK".
"OK .. but apart from the fishing industry, unexpected charges, farming, hauliers, wine imports, the music industry, the fashion industry, people retiring abroad, exporters, the banking industry, postage, the integrity of the UK, security cooperation, and companies moving abroad, what harm has Brexit ever done us. NOTHING".

I'm loving the arguments on Twitter about Scottish independence. Most of them against it voted leave.
