I need a set of tyre warmers for my end of year track weekend ,any good brands that dont break the bank ?
And is there a list of essential things to take to a track weekend besides my bike and a helmet

Is it open pit or sessions? If it's sessions it's probably not worth getting warmers

If you using a trackday specific tyre get warmers as they don't like repeated heat cycles. Thats the idea of them, not so your transformed into MM93 as some people think

If you want a decent tyre to last 3 days without warmers, I was recommended Sportsmart TT by the Dunlop rep and you can drop the pressures for more grip as ntec carcass.

Other option worth considering without warmers would be Conti Race attack endurance compound.

If you want decent warmers on a budget I think Diamond do them have decent reviews.

Thats what I had for a Euro event, as more than enough performance for me, but I think your quicker, so maybe consider the D212 GP Racer if your happy with warmers.

Fwiw I have Diamond tyrewarmers. They are ok (around 15yo now ), but not the best imho. For how little they get used, maybe you could borrow someone's.?

I have those Racetech ones above. They do the job.

When mine burn out I'll look at getting the base level Cap-It warmers. They're incredibly lightweight, insulating and HOT! They also don't have the thermistor that burns out like all other warmers so they will last longer. I believe they have a lengthy guarantee on them too.

Yes those will do I'm not a serious track day junkie and using the road tyres that are on it ,I will swap tyres at the track with the tyre provider if I get through them
I'm hoping to only use the sides anyhow
Let me know how much for the warmers please and when to fetch them
No idea if it's open pit lane but i think its novice,inter in one group and fast,racer in another

No limits portomaio in November, ive just looked for a UK day to get into the swing of it but every one is full !
I haven't been on a track for about 4 years ,I'm not bothered about being slow but would like to get on track before I go to Portugal

You need track day specific medical insurance that specifically covers you for treatment of injuries sustained on track. Not cheap but worth it for the peace of mind.

For me it costs around £13 for insurance for the 3 days on circuit. I rely on my travel insurance through the bank for the days off circuit. I know it can cost up to £40 for the older gentleman though.

You really do need to read the small print on insurance now though, see how Covid has affected the policy, especially regarding cancellations.
