Yeah it is good. 16mm is what you'll usually find on sports bikes.

The size of the mc bore is matched to the caliper bore, to give a specific hydraulic ratio that the manufacturer will have specified.

Obviously if you alter only one of the bores then you alter the hydraulic ratio and how the brakes feel.

Kwacky didn't realise it's usually 16mm, do you remember what the Ninja was? Those brakes were awesome in all honesty.

Blade. Yea I still need to rebleed the brakes to see whether it has got air in it or if its just the way it feels. I don't remember the brakes being much different when I picked it up to be honest. I've made improvements like I've stated above but maybe it needs another bleed to properly prove my suspicions, not that I'm worried about my brakes at the moment. They stop me well and to be fair I'd easily do a stoppie on my bike if I treated the brakes that way

I have done a bit more research and seems like its quite common on my year bike. Again not that it's bad brakes because their not. I did definitely make that initial bite quicker with the lines and pads but I'm sure I can get them to be slightly sooner.

But first things first I'll give them another bleed soon and see if I can get the lever rock hard
