Leather repairs and alterations - Northwest area

Post by Zx10dale »

The above came up in general conversation on Sunday so I thought I would post details. See following link, they are just outside Wigan

With the cost of new leathers it makes sense to work with what you have. Since I am now a porker but wasn't when I bought my current one piece the folks above have made a couple of alterations to suite my new shape " pear" I believe it is. They are really good and do a lot for the racing community.Hightly recommended and a lot cheaper than a new set !!

cheers

Agreed they have a really good reputation. There is also Andelle race leathers. (relatives of Joyda iirc)

I'm retiring my one piece this year and getting a new one. It's at least 12 years old, propbably older. It's done me proud.

(nod) Joyda are ace...it was Nikki who altered my Dainese leathers to fit me beautifully when they were new, and she's done plenty of repairs on both mine & Pitty's kit. She put my witch symbol & 'Moonie' on my new suit (y)
Sorry I missed church, I was busy practicing witchcraft!

Cheers Moonie always good to get a review from someone with first hand experience. I'm going to give them a ring when I get a minute.
