SOLD: Street Triple R 2009/59, 5824 miles, matt graphite.

Hello all
I haven't been on tankslap in absolutely ages as I've not had time to keep up with forums due to work pressures.
Unfortunately at the moment I haven't really got the time to ride much any more so...

For sale is my beloved STR as I’m giving up motorcycling for now. The bike has been very well taken care of. 2 owners including me. Located near Maryhill, Glasgow.

It’s one of the original ones with the chrome bowl round headlamps (much better than the new plastic ones if you ask me!)
It has just about everything you could want bolted to it.

The base value of the bike is about 4700 according to what the dealers would give me for it, without any extras attached.

Michelin Pilot Road 3 tyres - probably about 1000 miles left on them.

Full service history, some at Triumph, some by Bill The Biker in Glasgow. It has had an oil change every 1000 miles basically!

It has loads of extras:

Twin Arrow underseat exhausts (sound AMAZING).

Datatool S4 Alarm.

Original Triumph parts:

Quick shifter.

Triumph black Pazzo adjustable levers.

Anodised black aluminium front and rear brake reservoirs.

Colour coded headlight cowl and smoked fly screen.

Colour coded single seat cowl.

Colour coded side fairings and belly pan.

Colour coded painted matt graphite hugger and front mudguard.

Modified Tiger 800 hand guards. (Never seen OEM hand guards on another street triple, very unique!).

Rear Paddock Stand Bobbins.

Triumph Carbon fibre tank pad.

R&G crash bungs.

R&G spindle sliders (front and rear).

R&G shark fin chain guard.

R&G tail tidy.

R&G radiator protector.

R&G shock tube.

GB Racing engine case covers (clutch, pulse and alternator covers).

Dr. Bike heated grips (wired to ignition so you can’t leave them on accidentally, go very hot).

Mirror extenders.

Scottoiler fitted (with twin arms).

Trickle charger (datatool) wired in.

The extras are worth at least £2000 in total - I would be looking for about 5550 all in. I also have all of the original bits so could return the bike to stock for sale and sell the bits separately if you wish - would rather it go to someone nice for 4200 than give the profit to a dealer!

Still have all the original bits to return to stock and both keys. Comes with full service and oil change history and all the receipts and MOT certificates all in a folder.

Test rides only with the cash, not really up for tyre-kickers, all the usual stuff.

Cheers for looking. pm me if you want any further details. Pictures as below - the gb racing covers and hugger have been sprayed since taking these.

Sorry to hear you're not getting any time to use the bike.

I'll ask around for you to see if anyone is interested.

Think you maybe being a bit optimistic with the price, I've seen low mileage 2012 bikes advertised for 4.5K

I didn't want to say anything but I think that's right! If I were you I'd strip all the goodies off it and sell it as a standard low milage bike. Those shiny bits you have will sell very quickly on 675.cc. GLWS.

Awesome thanks guys - anyone seen any low mileage 2009 bike prices? Closest I could find on autotrader was this one

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... &logcode=p" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I've taken the price down to 4200 as stock with no extras.

Think I might do as you say and strip off all the bling and sell it on 675.cc - I had thought about it as it would probably actually make more £ that way.

I'd be interested in the rad guard and black rezzys. Got a price for them?
